Tea Bagger Friendly FL Gov. Rick Scott Cutting Too Deep Into State Budget

Yet another loud political voice echoing out of the Sunshine State.  Heck and I thought Florida was only full of the wealthy Elderly, Tourists and Orange Trees.  I actually have wonderfully fond memories of vacationing in Florida and even having a few days where the memory "failed" me.

I do recall Florida as being a relatively relaxed state (especially after the horrors of passing through Georgia!)  As Jeb Bush came into office I must admit I did at that time more or less write off Florida as a State (Politically mind you) as I simply could not invision a relative of George W. Bush as having any true positive impact on the State.  I was perhaps wrong.

Fact is I had paid Florida little attention until ..................yesterday as I read the article in Time Magazine regarding the new Governor Rick Scott's proposed Budget Cut's.   A budget proposal that slashes $4.6 billion (7% of current spending) and pink-slips 8,700 state employees, while gutting aid for disability services and juvenile justice.  This apparently apart of a "7-7-7" plan Mr Scott has dreamed out, for those of you in the dark, 7 steps to 700,000 jobs in 7 years

Sounds like Romper Room!

So basically, pay taxes.....cut Gov't spending and............?  Your paying for nothing.

Simply paying.

No education and higher unemployment, can only lead to an ignorant Nation and it is a shame to see individuals like Mr. Scott (Personally a multi-millionair.......from dubious sources) propose cuts to individuals who only seek a chance.

His thinking that the private Business sector will "Come-'A-Roarin'-In" is a disillusion as we have too often seen how "Big Business" handles the general public AND how Government treats Big Business.....casting a look at the taxes GE and Exxon paid in 2009.

Good to see as a "Tea Bagger" he is causing an uproar in his own "Republican" based party.

I can only shake my head in curious amusement.
